**The role**

The Asia Pacific (APAC) Palladium corporate team wins and delivers projects for the APAC region as part of Palladium’s global strategic initiatives and purpose around “Catalysing an enriched future for all”.

The Head of Program Implementation, APAC, will oversee the implementation of program activities in Palladium’s donor business across the Asia-Pacific region, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, driving growth, leading improvement to operational systems, ensuring a high degree of compliance and leading and managing teams. This role requires a visionary leader with advanced strategic thinking, exceptional leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to foster client relationships and drive sustainable business practices. The role will supervise four Geographic Managers across the region and oversee the Assurance function.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Work constructively as part of the senior executive of Palladium APAC to meet business targets, support stakeholder needs and continue to improve the business.
- Provide strategic oversight and leadership for the delivery of complex and high-impact projects across the APAC region, ensuring they meet their outcome and quality objectives, deliver value for the client, and meet corporate financial targets.
- Supervise the Geographic Managers and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of their respective programs. Build and lead diverse and inclusive senior teams, leveraging expertise from all sources to deliver results and provide innovative solutions.
- Oversee the Quality and Assurance functions to ensure that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Maintain and improve quality and compliance standards across the region.
- Develop and implement the strategic vision for Program Implementation across the APAC region, ensuring alignment with global objectives and regional goals. Demonstrate strategy agility by adapting strategies to changing market conditions and organisational priorities.
- Lead the identification and assessment of new business opportunities, guiding the development of long-range strategies to position the company for success.
- Build and maintain high-level relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners, acting as a trusted advisor and industry leader. Understand client needs in depth and effectively communicate solutions.
- Stay ahead of market trends and client needs, using this information to contribute to business development strategies and ensure the company is well-positioned for future opportunities.
- Drive high performance across senior teams through coaching, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback.

**About you**

You have significant experience in Program Implementation and Operations within the International Development sector. You possess advanced strategic thinking and business development skills and exceptional project management and change management capabilities.

Additional key requirements include:

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including at senior leadership levels.
- Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills, and prior experience leading and managing diverse senior teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, particularly in a multi-cultural environment.
- Flexibility to travel to various locations throughout the APAC region.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
