Make bespoke furniture and interiors is a successful furniture, manufacturing organisation with a reputation for excellence in design product, quality manufacturing and service and is located in Botany NSW.

**About the role**:
You will be a part of a skilled manufacturing team operating with a start-up ethos, but with the support and resources of a larger corporation.

The role is suited to a talented, hands-on, joiner/cabinetmaker, and involves all aspects of residential furniture and cabinetmaking, manufacturing and assembly.

You will need to be creative, driven and have skills when presented with challenges.

A strong, practical and theoretical background is essential together with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Ideally, you have worked as part of a manufacturing team previously.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Minimum three years’ experience as a cabinet maker.
- Have a current NSW drivers’ license.
- Proven experience in the design implementation operation and training on a range of equipment.
- Demonstrated experience of hands-on projects.
- Experience in following a design process.
- Expert problem-solving skills and time management.
- Understand all aspects of residential joinery and manufacturing procedures.
- Some experience and understanding of operating high-end Timber board, cutting, edge, banding, drilling technologies would be an advantage.
- High standards of workmanship
- Work accurately and safely as part of a team
- Read construction drawings.
- Assembly of cabinetry and joinery components.
- Use a range of handheld tools.
- Cutting resources down to size, as needed.
- Planning an effective approach to work to ensure that each project is completed on time
- Complete construction/set up ready for install.
- Read construction drawings/problem-solving.
- Selecting the appropriate materials, fittings, and tools for each task.
- Creating standard and custom components of cabinets.
- Gathering the elements of each cabinet and assembling the final product.
- Inspecting each completed item to ensure that it has been constructed accurately, and that the necessary finishes have been applied
- Be responsible for producing a quality product.
- Always working safely to Australian standards

**Salary**: From $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Joinery: 1 year (preferred)
- Cabinet making: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
