**Practice Manager**

Our beautiful Practice in Junee, NSW has an opening for an experienced Practice Manager to join our team. As an accredited practice, the successful applicant would be expected to work with the practice team to maintain the RACGP Standards for General Practice and be committed to continuous quality improvement.

The Practice Manager must act with a high level of professionalism, confidentiality & integrity at all times within the practice & in the community. Excellent communication, interpersonal & conflict resolution skills are essential. You must have the ability to interact with other staff & General Practitioners in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, being proactive, resourceful & efficient, is crucial to this role. Excellent written & verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability & attention to detail are all equally important.

**Essential Criteria**
- Minimum 2 years experience as a practice manager
- Knowledge of MBS bulk bill item numbers & online claiming
- Knowledge of requirements for Practice Incentive Program
- Sound financial management skills including basic reconciliations, invoicing, debtor and creditor management, and business modelling opportunities
- Knowledge of current RACGP accreditation process, Infection Control and WH&S standards
- Demonstrated ability to organise, prioritise & problem solve
- Excellent written & oral skills with a focus on clear, concise and respectful communication
- Demonstrated patient-focused approach in service provision
- Demonstrated relationship building, liaison, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Experience working in a team environment and understanding of importance of being a team player
- Experience in stakeholder engagement within community
- Experience in evaluating workplace practices against accreditation standards, quality systems & organizational policies & procedure
- Experience in supervision of staff, management of contractors and basic HR functions

**Desirable Criteria**
- Member of a professional body
- Certificate IV in Practice Management
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Junee NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical practice management: 2 years (required)
