**About the role**:
The purpose of the System Performance Division is to leverage data as a strategic asset to improve educational outcomes. This is done by effectively curating, managing, and analysing data, providing advice and insight to support evidence-informed practices, and fostering a data literate culture. System Performance is responsible for providing data analytics and business intelligence services to the Department for Education and leads data governance. The Strategic Data Initiatives (SDI) directorate leads key Departmental strategic initiatives that System Performance has ownership of, including primary responsibility for wellbeing data collection and analysis, data capability, and data literacy initiatives. The team also coordinates System Performance’s participation in national projects, research activities, and priority reforms, provides project management support to the division, and leads the division’s policy function. The Project Coordinator provides high quality administrative, logístical and project support for the planning, coordination and delivery of initiatives within SDI. Working under limited direction the Project Coordinator ensures our support to sites and our initiatives are delivered efficiently.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**: Nil.

**Desirable**: Qualification in project management.

**Special conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO4 $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
