Finance Business Partner

**Your New Role Looks Like This**:
As a Finance Business Partner, you will support the achievement of Australian Unity’s vision whilst ensuring effective business analysis and the provision of meaningful financial insights relating to the operations of our Home Health Business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Provision of support for the requirements of Group Finance functions, including:

- Month-end management
- Results commentary, risks and opportunities registers
- Annual budget preparation and analysis
- Monthly and quarterly forecasting comprising Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflows
- Treasury and Liquidity Management
- Strategic finance partnering across the HH Business Units to support revenue initiatives, manage costs, develop analysis, and provide commercial finance support.
- Work collaboratively across the wider Australian Unity business to drive effective input into the overall financial and operational management of the business.
- Assistance with the annual strategic planning process across the business unit(s).
- Reporting of actual performance against budget, forecast and longer-term strategic plan initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with the AU Group Finance team to ensure accuracy and reliability in all financial information produced from the shared services team.
- Review and analyse monthly results, providing accurate and insightful analysis of key trends and performance indicators.
- Preparation of monthly management reporting information to the Home Health Leadership Team.
- Preparation, analysis of and commentary on results against targets/budgets.
- Participation in monthly management meetings in the provision of financial performance reviews and presentations.
- Monitor & track all financial risks and opportunities across the business unit.

**About You**:

- Previous Finance Business Partner experience, ideally within the health or aged care industry
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Strong commercial business acumen
- Proven success in operationally oriented analytical roles.
- Natural desire to seek continuous improvement and thinking innovatively.
- Collaborative style, proactive and a bias for making things happen.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to cultivate productive and effective business partnering relationships.
- Ambition and drive to achieve results and time constraints and conflicting priorities.
- Ability to work methodically and with attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
