**About the Role**
They are currently seeking multiple Grants Program Officers to join their growing team located in Nowra OR Parramatta with the flexibility to work remotely from home. This is an estimated 6-months temp assignment, strong potential to extend
Reporting to the Manager, you will be required to assist in the grants administration process across multiple NSW flood grant funding programs to support organisational objectives. You will be the initial point of contact and liaison for Council to direct queries about the specific grants programs.
**Responsibilities**
- Administer select grants programs, contributing to transition to SmartyGrants management system
- Maintain up to date Council Register, routinely sourcing required documentation as per Grant Acknowledge Schedule
- Monitor and collect initial assessments and reporting of Programs of Work requirements from Councils
- Undertake research and analysis
- Gather and collate information to support informed decision-making outcomes
- Identify emerging issues and trends whilst mitigating risks
- Preparation of high-level documents including project briefs, correspondence and reports
- Maintains up to date knowledge of project and grants concepts, practices and procedures
- Records and database management, ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
- Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, facilitating engagement, consultation, collaboration, partnering and contribution of ideas
- Provide routine program status updates to all stakeholders
- Manage multiple grants programs simultaneously
- Ensuring compliance with best practice and legislative requirements
**About You**
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise competing deadlines
- Solid analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
- Proactive with the ability to work independently and part of a team
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite and SmartyGrants
**Requirements**:
- Demonstrated Grants Project or Programs Support experience
- Public Sector experience
- Experience engaging with councils and public land managers
- Reliable remote internet access to work remotely from home
- Fully COVID Vaccinated or Medical exemption
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
