**Talent International** is currently recruiting for a **Program Officer **to work for a** NSW Government **based in **Ashfield**. This position is a contract position for **2**-month contract role with the possibility of being extended **and are paying **$52.85ph + super.**

7 Hours per day / 35 per week job

**Skill set**:

- Ability to develop, implement and manage a planned program of maintenance by analysing Property Assessment Survey (PAS) data, utilising local knowledge to support the organisation's housing portfolio property maintenance program.
- Ability to Provide both proactive and effective contract administration through the development of office estimates including attend on site (as required) and supporting negotiations with contractors in relation to quotations.
- Ability to ensures that works are appropriately delivered and that strategies and action plans are put in place to rectify work issues.
- Ability to develops scopes of work for exceptional internal activities to statutory and regulatory items such as disability modifications, in collaboration with relevant professionals such as Occupational Therapists.
- Ability ensures compliance with Building Code of Australia, LAHC standards, policies and Contract Guidelines when issuing work to contractors
- Ability to maintain a focus on contract administration and understanding that delivery of Programs, including decisions about how maintenance will be carried out.

**Experience**:

- Sound residential building experience or exposure, together with experience in contract administration including preparing quotations or estimates;
- Post trade Certificate IV or equivalent qualifications or sound work experience in an asset related field;
- Current working knowledge of The Building Code of Australia;
- Intermediate MS Word and Excel with MS Project skills desirable; and
- Current Driver's Licence
