**About the Role**:
As an Assistant Grants Assessment Officer, you will:

- Undertake a variety of administrative activities to ensure the efficient and compliant management of community grants administered by the Community Recovery Programs Branch.
- Contribute to community recovery programs by supporting a range of projects, programs, and initiatives.
- Compile, analyse, and interpret data to inform performance monitoring and enhance project and program design, implementation, evaluation, and strategy.
- Conduct research, source and collate information, and contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, briefings, and correspondence for senior management.
- Support the effective delivery of community recovery program funding in alignment with policies, strategies, and standards to ensure targeted and impactful grants funding.

**About the Agency**

The NSW Reconstruction Authority (the Authority) is a statutory corporation within Planning, Housing and Infrastructure. The Authority will improve how NSW plans for disasters and help communities to recover from them faster.

To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, NGOs, businesses, and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities, and other stakeholders.
