Fun Kids is a well established Out of School Hours Care provider. We are expanding and we are looking for passionate educators to join our friendly team at the following location. **Role** - Assistant Coordinator The Assistant Coordinator role works closely with our busy Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of our Out of School Hours Care service on a day to day basis. This role is suitable for an educator who has been in the childcare industry for a couple of years and would like to step up to the Assistant Coordinator level with the aim to one day become a Coordinator. **Job Type** - Permanent part time - 35 hours during school terms and 38 hours per week during school holiday period. **Location** - Springwood NSW **Start Date** - In the next few weeks **What's in it for you?** - Above Award rates ($30 to $35 per hour dependent on qualification and experience) + Broken Shift Allowance + superannuation; - 4 weeks of annual leave and 2 weeks of personal leave per year; - Paid trainings and qualifications; - Friendly working environment; - Ongoing paid professional and career development and growth opportunities; - Flexibility with convenient location and hours work providing terrific work life balance; - A centre that appreciates and supports your hard-work and makes you proud to be a part of the team **Skills and Knowledge** - Experience within an Out of School Hours Care setting (preferred or experience in a long day care setting); - A positive "can-do" mindset; - Ability to develop warm and respectful relationships with families and children. **Essential Criteria** - Must have long term commitment to our centre; - Working with Children Check; - Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, Child Protection training (or willing to obtain) **How to Apply** **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Professional development assistance Schedule: - Afternoon shift - Morning shift Licence/Certification: - Working with Children Check (preferred) Work Location: In person
