**Position overview**:
A full time Customer Service role has become available at our office in Glen Waverley, Victoria. The purpose of this role is to meet customer expectations by taking ownership of all requests through to completion whilst providing a high quality point of contact and providing administrative support to the commercial team.
**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, your role is to:
- Provide customers with a high quality point of contact, in order to meet their needs including placement of orders, deliveries, inquiries and problem solving
- Receive and follow up customer inquiries, problems and complaints through to completion and resolution, or refer them to the appropriate personnel
- Act as an extension of the sales team and support the Account Managers in the field
- Strive to build successful relationships with both internal and external customers
**Required skills and experience**:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Must be customer service focused, with a sound understanding of customer service needs and expectations
- Have a proactive attitude and be highly motivated
- Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Good understanding of standard commercial practice
- General computer literacy / competency, experience using an ERP system for data entry, order processing -SAP desirable
- Capacity to work accurately, attention to detail and make decisions on competing priorities
- Ability to effectively communicate technical and commercial issues to all stakeholders written and verbally
- Good work ethic and focus on teamwork, collaboration and support
- Previous experience with or within the Composites industry would be advantageous but not essential, training will be provided
**Qualifications**:
- Business administration qualifications preferred
