**About the Role**

Centralised Tailings Pump Station Control Room is operated in a safe, economic and environmentally responsible

manner. This is a permanent, full-time position working a roster of 7 days on, 7 days off (12 hours per day), with

the weekly blocks alternating between day and night shift.

**Responsibilities include**:

- ensure that all operations and tasks are carried out safely and in accordance with company safety policies

and work instructions;
- report all accidents and incidents and ensure that corrective / remedial action is carried out;
- daily inspection of workplace for hazards and report on deficiencies;
- operation and monitoring of Citect computer system;
- monitor plant for abnormalities such as wear, overflowing, spillages and leaks from pipes and tanks;
- monitor and document plant operations including flows, pressures, levels, densities, amp draws and adjust

in line with Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work Instructions;
- ensure correct flows of process stream;
- Clean and maintain plant as required;
- carry out lawful instructions from Coordinator or Manager;
- participate in the development and review of Safe Operating Procedures and Safe Work Instructions; and
- ensure Work Observations are submitted as required.
- experience in Centralised Tailings Pumping Operations or similar process operation;
- experience in operation of Citect Scada computer system;
- good problem-solving skills;
- must be a team player and support all others on site;
- must be responsible; and
- experience in Job Safety Analysis and Risk Assessment.
