An exciting opportunity is now open for Casual Control Room Operators with a positive can-do attitude to join our team.

As part of the Event Department, Security and Carpark the role will operate and oversee the security control room of RAC Arena in both event and non-event modes.

Reporting directly to the Security and Car Park Manager.

**About the role**

- Facilitate the day-to-day operation of the Control Room, including to issuing of keys, CCTV camera operation, lighting systems and swipe card access.
- Monitor daily operations of Car Park ensuring all RAC Arena policies, procedures and standards are met.
- In consultation with the Manager or Coordinator - Security & Car Park, report any security issues in relation to the building and carpark.
- Ensure that building security is maintained at all times and the venue security, fire systems and CCTV systems are monitored at all times.
- Efficiently operate the main control room equipment including telephones, intercom, radio systems

**About You**
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
- Basic knowledge of State Legislation concerning Police Service Act & Regulations, Security Industry, Liquor Industry
- Ability to manage work and time effectively in order to respond to unpredictable demands in an ever-changing work environment
- Software: Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Security Management Software, Carpark Management Software
- Sound administrative and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service focus
- High discipline in enforcing adherence to Policies and Procedures
- Ability to work under pressure, juggle multiple tasks and prioritise work

RAC Arena is WA’s home of live entertainment, music and sports. Since opening, our 15,000 seat venue has hosted many famous superstars, including Prince, The Killers, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, Ed Sheeran, KISS, Celine Dion and Katy Perry. RAC Arena has also given our sporting favourites an opportunity to thrive and excel. The venue has previously hosted the United Cup with record attendance and stellar players, such as Roger Federer, and Serena and Venus Williams. The Perth Wildcats have scaled new heights on and off the court by regularly playing in front of more than 12,000 people, transforming the CBD into a sea of red during their home games.
