Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Early Childhood, Diploma or equivalent as approved by ACECQA
- Qualification in auditing or compliance (desirable, not essential)

Experience and skills:

- Demonstrated extensive experience in auditing, compliance and/or risk assurance
- Previous demonstrated experience in developing compliance and or policy framework
- Previous demonstrated experience in complaint handling and investigations
- Working knowledge of the ISO 19600 Compliance.
- Knowledge or previous experience within the early learning sector is desirable.
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework including the Education and Care Services Law (Queensland) and Education and Care National Regulations.
- Excellent written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Commitment to working within the purpose and values of the Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod and adhering to the policies, organisational requirements and processes.

**Additional requirements**:

- Suitability Card for Child Related Employment (Blue Card) - All adults who work with people under 18 years in Queensland are required to undergo a “Working with Children Check” under the screening provisions of the Commission for Children and Young People Act (2000). Presentation of a current Suitability Card must be made before appointment to the position can be confirmed.
- National Criminal History Check to be provided and assessed every three years. Presentation of a current National Criminal History Check must be made before appointment to the position can be confirmed.
- Position requires flexibility of hours and travel will be required, as necessary.
- The successful applicant must be eligible to legally work in Australia and proof of eligibility may be requested.
