Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review in May 2024, it was announced that Perpetual Limited will become a standalone Asset Management business and has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) who will acquire the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.

An exciting opportunity to be part of the wider Perpetual Wealth Management and join the team as an Assoicate focusing on providing ongoing client service and high-quality support to Financial Advisers and Partners.

The wealth management business consists of three distinct brands in addition to Perpetual Private - Fordham, Jacaranda financial planning and Priority Life - offering a unique mix of wealth management, advice and trustee services. With a diverse range of capabilities including strategic advice on superannuation and retirement planning, general investment, asset protection, insurance, tax management, estate planning, aged care, social security, succession planning and philanthropy. Our clients include individuals, families, businesses, not-for-profit organisations and Indigenous communities throughout Australia.

About the role
- Attend and actively participate in client meetings to support the Financial Advisers in the provision of a highly personal and compelling client experience
- Arrange & coordinate documentation for client meetings
- Oversee the preparation of annual review and new business plans including development of draft strategies, financial modelling, completion of fact find data and other inputs needed to complete advice instructions
- Undertake insurance needs analysis and preparation of insurance quotes
- Manage workflow to deliver to client needs. Maintain an understanding of operational processes for other teams including paraplanning and operations

About you

We’re looking for someone with:

- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in paraplanning or related financial services experience
- Experience with Xplan desirable and a client facing role
- Working knowledge of investments & advice strategies including, superannuation consolidation, retirement, personal insurance, structures, taxation, income streams & cash flow modelling
- Working knowledge of estate planning, philanthropy, aged care & debt management strategies desirable
