Family Lawyer (Associate/Senior Associate)
.

This is a
full-time position
for a lawyer with
3+ years of post-admission experience
, who is looking to develop a long-term and meaningful career within a supportive, well-established practice.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing a caseload of family law files with supervision as needed
  • Drafting affidavits, applications, consent orders, and financial agreements
  • Providing clear and empathetic legal advice to clients
  • Attending court appearances and mediations where appropriate
  • Conducting legal research to support complex matters
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Working closely with colleagues to achieve optimal client outcomes

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 3 years PAE in family law
  • Experience in parenting and/or property matters is highly regarded
  • Strong drafting and legal writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in emotionally charged situations
  • Organised and able to manage competing deadlines
  • Compassionate, client-focused, and eager to learn
  • A team player who is proactive, professional, and adaptable
