**About the Role**

As the Marketing Automation Functional Consultant, you will serve as a key player within our Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Practice, supporting the Practice Manager, Marketing Automation Lead, and the broader team. You will work on business analysis and scoping for customer and prospect engagements that involve marketing automation, lead marketing automation projects, and act as the primary client relationship lead for automation efforts. Your expertise, particularly with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights marketing automation tools, will be used to drive strategic initiatives and optimise customer engagement outcomes.

**What You'll Do**

**Business Analysis and Scopin**
- **Requirement Gathering**:Collaborate with clients and internal teams to capture detailed business requirements for marketing automation initiatives. Conduct discovery sessions and workshops to understand customer processes, needs, and pain points where marketing automation can deliver value.
- **Documentation & Analysis**:Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Scoping & Design documents, process maps, and functional specifications. Perform gap and impact analyses to recommend improvements and optimisations that align with marketing strategies and Dynamics 365 capabilities.

**Leadership of Marketing Automation Project**
- **Project Management**:Under the oversight of the Marketing Automation Lead, lead the planning, execution, and delivery of marketing automation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. Monitor key project milestones and drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
- **Technical Oversight**:Provide guidance on best practices and configure solutions within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem. Oversee data integrations and the effective utilisation of marketing automation tools to enhance customer engagement.

**Marketing Automation Expertise**
- **Tool Proficiency**:Leverage in-depth knowledge of marketing automation platforms, with a preferred background in using Dynamics 365 Customer Insights marketing automation. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our marketing strategies.
- **Process Optimisation**:Identify and implement strategies to optimise marketing campaigns, from lead generation to customer retention, using automation tools and analytics.

**Client Relationship Leadership**
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:Build and nurture long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on marketing automation strategies. Serve as the main point of contact for clients during engagements, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business objectives.
- **Presales & Advisory Support**:Collaborate with the presales team to deliver compelling presentations and proposals. Influence decision-making by illustrating the business value of marketing automation solutions tailored to client needs.

**What You Need to Succeed**

**Technical & Domain Expertise**
- **Marketing Automation**:A robust background in marketing automation, with practical experience implementing and managing automated marketing solutions. Preferred experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights marketing automation tools.
- **Dynamics 365 Ecosystem**:Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement modules and their integration with marketing automation solutions.
- **Process & Best Practices**:Knowledge of industry best practices in digital marketing and marketing technology. Experience with Agile project methodologies is a plus.

**Experience & Educational Background**
- **Experience**:5 years of experience in marketing automation, business analysis, or a related role. Prior involvement in complex customer engagements or presales activities within a technology consulting environment.
- **Education**:A degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications (e.g., in Dynamics 365, marketing automation platforms, or project management) are an advantage

- **Analytical Skills**:Expertise in gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements. Ability to perform gap analyses and clearly articulate how marketing automation can drive business success.
- **Project Leadership**:Hands-on experience in leading projects and managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating within a team environment.
- **Relationship Management**:Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
