**About the role**

An opportunity exists for a Food Services Assistant to join our team at Oak Towers Aged Care Service. You will be responsible for the kitchen and dining room duties and your day to day tasks will include but not be limited to:

- Assist in the preparation of meals;
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment;
- Assist with the serving of meals, including setting up and cleaning the dining room, trolleys and trays.

You will be required to have shift flexibility, working 4 days per week including weekends, morning, afternoon and evening work.

Remuneration for this role is $24.58 - $25.24 per hour commensurate with experience.

**About you**

You are an enthusiastic worker who enjoys being a team player and can work autonomously.

Ideally you will have:

- Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or similar is desirable but not essential;
- Experience working in the Aged Care industry is desirable;
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day week;
- Possess or have the ability to acquire a current National Police and NDIS Screen Check.
