**Your New Company**

Our client is a Local Council, East of Perth who are seeking an experienced Supervisor Mechanical Services to join their team and offer leadership and supervision to the Councils Mechanical Services.

**Your New Role**

As the Supervisor Mechanical Services for the City, your main objectives will be to coordinate, plan and organise implementation and timely completion of maintenance, repairs and preventative procedures to Council vehicles and equipment. By successfully reaching these objectives you will assist the department in providing a high quality service to internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

- Overseeing employees attendance, raising requisitions for services and materials, approve invoices, assisting with tendering processes, assist with technical specs for plant purchases and more administrative tasks
- Coordinate staff and resources to meet the required output by the department, oversee the performance of team members, responsible for continuous education and monitoring of performance, provide a healthy and encouraging working environment
- Provide a high level of service to customers, provide a safe environment and ensure team and contractors adhere to OSH procedures
- Other duties related to the scope and level of the position

**What You'll Need to Succeed**

As a successful applicant you will need the following qualifications and experience:

- Trade qualification or Associate Diploma in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering
- Recognized frontline management qualification
- Demonstrated experience in management of workshop staff
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance of mobile workshop, heavy equipment and machinery
- Sound experience in planning and scheduling
- 'C' Class Drivers Licence
