**About the role**

The role is an Operations centric role for 20+ Australian based underground projects across Australia, 2 Service Centre workshops in Brisbane & Kalgoorlie and 3 Corporate offices in Brisbane, Perth, and Gaborone Botswana and small satellite office in Hong Kong. The role also involves collaborating with our global IT team based in Canada and standardisation activities.

This is a permanent, full-time office-based role at our Eagle Farm Office.

**This is a pivotal role within the business and will require**:

- Design, plan and coordinate IT and IT systems in accordance with Redpath Global standard
- Manage IT operational services, including the service desk, infrastructure, AV, Wi-Fi, and end-user computing.
- Implement new IT projects and oversee their successful execution;
- Ensure business-critical systems are secure, current, and operating at optimal performance levels;
- Foster effective, professional relationships with staff and suppliers, and promote productive working relations across divisions;
- Oversee incident management and provide escalation support for high-impact issues;
- Ensure systems are secure, with accurate data and appropriate permissions;
- Analyse management needs regarding information retrieval, control data and expanded use of IT equipment in operations and processes;
- Assess staffing levels, recommend efficiency gains, and support recruitment and training of
- ITS personnel Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management practices and frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
- Significant prior experience in IT team management and information security
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with SLAs
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage technology and cybersecurity risks
