**The opportunity**:
As the Broker Development Manager, you will be accountable for the ongoing management and support of BankVic’s broker channel. Reporting into the Regional Manager -Broker, Digital Lending and Retention, you will be responsible with all the elements of maintaining broker relationships including the sourcing, onboarding, accreditation and day to day guidance.

We’re seeking someone who is passionate about our Brokers, providing exceptional service and helping our members take their next step on their home lending journey. BankVic’s Broker channel is just over 12 months old, and you’ll be a big part of shaping and growing our business with Broker experience and member experience at the centre of what we do and how we do it.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sourcing and onboarding new broker partners.
- Ongoing development of broker processes and policies.
- Coach and support brokers to optimise relevant BankVic products and offers.
- Coach and support BankVic staff with the integration of the broker channel.
- Prepare and provision accurate and timely statistical reporting information.
- Participate positively and constructively in regular meetings and projects across BankVic.
- This role will require interstate travel and out of hours work supporting business development opportunities, Broker and Industry events and conferences

**Who we are looking for**:

- You are passionate about the Broker industry and committed to making an impact and have demonstrated strong results in aggregator distribution.
- Extensive networks and established relationships within the broker channel.
- Credit assessment experience to assist brokers with complex assessments, escalations and coaching.
- You’re a strong collaborator with a strength for building internal and external relationships and deliver with a can-do attitude for your stakeholders
- RG146 Tier 2 certification.
- Degree-level qualification or higher in a financial discipline (or the equivalent experience).
- Specialised knowledge and understanding of financial services products and systems.
- You’re organised, know how to prioritise and to meet deadlines
- Leadership experience within financial services.
