**A little bit about the role**

The Broker Development Manager - Melbourne is to be the first point of contact for a portfolio of brokers to generate increased brand and product awareness and ultimately home loan growth. The BDM is responsible for developing and executing a call plan to build excellent relationships with the brokers in your portfolio. You will also be the primary account contact for a key aggregator with a core focus on growing market share.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Conduct regular visits with new and existing brokers, facilitating ongoing training of brokers of our service proposition.
- Ensure the Bank is well represented and promoted at state-based development events
- Maintain a regular calling strategy to regional brokers to help extend our reach to more customers.
- Taking all steps in your role to enable our purpose - helping all Australians to own their own home.

**A little bit about you**
- A career Banker with relevant experience in a similar role in the industry, with strong broker and aggregator networks.
- Experienced in all aspects of the residential home loans, with a strong understanding of credit assessment and customer scenarios.
- Demonstrated success in implementing structured call plans that deliver growth
- A problem solver, always looking for the way something can be done
- Works across boundaries to ensure a united and cohesive experience for our customers
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and strong desire to innovate and excel
