**About the Roles**

The Dean of Programs and the Dean of Research report directly to the Executive Dean, and are members of the UniSA Creative Executive team.

The **Dean of Programs** will lead the academic quality, performance and reputation of UniSA Creative’s programs and courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level, delivered on-campus, online, mixed-mode and offshore. UniSA Creative delivers programs in Screen, Design, Communication, and Creative and Cultural Practices. The Dean of Programs will lead a team of Program Directors, and will work with Government, industry practitioners and accrediting bodies to raise the profile and impact of UniSA Creative programs to meet the needs of the current and future workforce, nationally and internationally.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a bold and ambitious leader who is energetic, has a passion for teaching and learning, and who will take accountability for the delivery of quality and excellence in all that they do. They will be able to respond rapidly to emerging internal and external challenges, anticipating and interpreting uncertainty to provide clear direction for their teams.

The **Dean of Research** will work closely with the Executive Dean and Research Centre Directors to lead the development and delivery of the strategy for high-quality research and research training within UniSA Creative, bringing to life the University’s research ambitions. The Dean of Research will also maintain a strong record of personal research activity and achievements, including research collaboration and leadership nationally and internationally.

Research in UniSA Creative explores the creative, cultural and artistic complexities of our world, and their increasing significance for community engagement, quality of life, career prospects, regional and urban regeneration, and national and international policy development. Our research is both traditional and practice-based, and we are a national leader in the advocacy of creative practice research.

Applicants for the **Dean of Research** role will have an outstanding record of substantial and sustained achievement, collaboration and leadership in research, with a focus on industry connections and translation to real-world outcomes, as well as demonstrated strength in developing and leading interdisciplinary teams.
