Associate Dean

• Open to Australian Aboriginal Peoples and Adelaide University employees only
• 2 full-time fixed term contracts until 31 December 2026 based in AU Online at the Adelaide City campus
• Salary range: $170,582 - $187,548 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About you

You have extensive experience in leading academic teams and course development. You have skills in project management and a track record of delivering on time. You are a mentor for other academics and your communication and stakeholder engagement skills are highly developed.

About the role

In this role, you will be a primary liaison point between the Colleges/Schools and AU Online. You will have a strong focus on establishing partnerships with stakeholders across the university, driving curriculum development for AU Online programs, and ensuring high-quality online courses are continually improved. You will provide academic oversight on curriculum design and delivery, promoting innovative teaching approaches while contributing to the establishment of a positive learning experience for AU Online students.

• Doctoral qualification together with significant experience and a passion for online teaching
• Demonstrated ability to provide academic leadership across a large group of multidisciplinary academic staff
• Demonstrated ability to lead major curriculum initiatives
• Highly developed interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
