**Your future role**

Headquartered in Perth, WA, with manufacturing centers of excellence in Australia, Asia, North and South America, Austin has an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Sales and Services Representative.**

Liaise between customers and internal functions to ensure timely and successful delivery of post sales service according to the customer needs. Attract and retain key customers by developing strong trusted client relationships. Identify opportunities for new and repeat business. Deliver on sales and services targets.

**Site Visits**

This is a Site-Facing role with strong background in heavy equipment fabrication/boilermaking (particularly mining truck bodies and large excavator buckets and other large fabricated components)

The role requires you to be comfortable carrying out **regular** site visits to discuss operational and wear characteristics of these products with site-based customers (maintenance managers/specialists/planners etc).

Needs to be proactive in gathering wear and other data in order to develop and provide proposals for repair/refurbishment of buckets and truck bodies and upsell spare parts.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Comply with Austin and relevant site/s Workplace Health and Safety policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Monitor work in area of responsibility to ensure a safe system of work is in place (methods, people, equipment)
- Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to assigned customer base.
- Deliver a high standard of post sales service to the customer through
- monitoring and reporting on equipment
- offering further solution-based recommendations
- building strong, long lasting customer relationships
- Meet individual and team KPI’s that align with the team and business plan and strategy
- Actively participate in regular meetings to report on sales projects, clients, budgets to the Sales Manager
- Assist in the forecasting against budget targets with the Sales Manager and Finance Manager
- Build the customer base by developing strong relationships with the customers
- Utilise these relationships to identify opportunities to maximise repeat business sales
- Promote new products and services to existing and potential customers
- Actively participate in regular meetings to present
- Ensure a professional image is maintained at all times

**Knowledge & Skills**
- 5yrs Industry knowledge preferable(Engineering/Fabrication)
- 3 years’ experience in Business Development/Sales
- Extensive Knowledge of and experience working with mining attachment products, specifications and performance.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering client focused solutions based on customer needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft software packages desirable.
- Knowledge of contemporary trends and issues within the mining industry.
