Today, CW Products has distribution branches around Australia, with its head office and manufacturing plant and warehouse in Murray Bridge, South Australia.
**What you will be doing and will be responsible for**:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Development Account Manager will be responsible for end-to-end account management across the Victorian and Tasmanian territory working directly with window furnishing, home improvement, and roller door fabricators and retailers. As the key client facing contact, you will build market position for CWP by working across existing accounts, and growing your account portfolio and sales base.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop, manage and maintain highly productive relationships with clients with a focus on customer service, product support, and sales generation.
- Drive market growth and pursue and develop opportunities in accordance with company and sales objectives.
- Manage and retain existing client base and sales targets, whilst growing the account portfolio and sales conversion.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Victorian Strategic, Business and Sales Plans for CWP.
- Prepare Annual Budgets and ensure annual and monthly reviews with MD reflect agreed targets and outcomes.
- Continually measure, review and report on the company sales performance in VIC and ensure action is taken to correct under-performance.
- Maintain rapport with existing accounts and establish new accounts.
- Develop and deliver customer-based training and support programs with retail and commercial customers in consultation with CWP Technical Support staff.
- Monitor and report on competition by gathering current marketplace information.
- Submit weekly work plans and monthly region analyses reporting to management.
- Negotiate and offer pricing to customers within agreed guidelines.
- Live and lead the organisational values.

- Prior experience in accounts management (sales) and relationship management.
- Familiarity (basic technical nous) and/or direct exposure to the home automation or window furnishing industry advantageous.
- A strong customer service approach with problem resolution, attention to detail and accountability.
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to forge long lasting “win-win” relationships.
- Exceptional planning and sales strategy skills to meet targets and expected service standards.
- Able to self-manage and work effectively without constant supervision and direction.
- A willingness to proactively assist others through coaching, small-group product training and basic product support.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and client demands simultaneously.
- An ability to work in a dynamic environment, cope with change and growth, and be a flexible team player and positive culture fit.
