Seeking an experienced Team Leader to support a small team within a Government department

**Your new company**
A Government department based in Perth CBD, is seeking an experienced Team Leader to support a small team within a major area of the business. You will be required to work full-time hours, on an initial temporary basis and paid on a competitive hourly rate. Ideally you will be able to commence immediately after a successful interview.

**Your new role**
As the Team Leader you will be responsible for managing a small team that is responsible for strategic oversight on certain activities involved within the Perth community. You will be responsible for:

- Developing and implementing business development strategies and operational plans
- Providing strategic advise of issues related to financial performance and administration
- Managing a small team, monitoring their performance and ensuring they are working towards outcomes efficiently
- Management of customer service related enquiries, complaints, incident reports and claims

**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be considered for this role you will display:

- Previous experience in leading and managing a small team
- Experience within financial management responsibilities, ideally within a large organisation
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience within procurement and managing tenders and contracts
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
