Your contribution (key responsibilities and accountabilities)To be successful in this role you will: - Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through understanding department strategy, business process and individual ICT needs. Lead and/or participate in strategic consultation and negotiation with senior management, service suppliers, vendors and partner agencies to ensure the provision of appropriate and adequate ICT resources, systems and services to meet the business needs of the department and our partners agencies. Consult and collaborate with business representatives to document formal business requirements to enable solution design and work collaboratively to develop cost estimates
- Manage the engagement, new business, and pipeline management process
- Oversee the work and performance of a small team with ITD to ensure customer expectations are being met and the team is delivering as required
- Work with Vendors and stakeholders to develop and monitor Service Level Agreements and Key Indicators
- Manage stakeholder relationships, expectations, including the identification of possible political and high-risk matters ensuring that they are dealt with in a timely and professional manner. Demonstrate commitment to contemporary standards of ethical practice, a safe workplace, equity and diversity. Foster and role-model a work environment that values performance, improvement, innovation and outcomes. Maintain a high-level knowledge of the department's and government's current and planned ICT strategies, objectives, and policies.
