**About the Building Commission NSW**

The new Building Commission NSW has been established after the NSW Government recognised the substantial progress made by Fair Trading and the Office of the Building Commissioner in delivering once-in-a-generation reforms of the building and construction industry. **About Industry, Customer, Capability & Engagement**

Industry, Customer, Capability & Engagement (ICCE) is a newly created function within BCNSW to drive enhancement in service delivery, focusing on optimising customer experiences and refining internal processes, ensuring they align with BCNSW’s overall objectives.

In this role you will be working within the education team, directly reporting to the Senior Project Officer (Regulatory Qualifications). The role will assist in monitoring and coordinating qualification matters related to licensing pathways within the building and construction industry and reviewing and updating qualification changes as they occur.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Monitor and escalate inbound enquiries on qualification matters
- Organise and maintain standard operating procedures and related materials
- Monitor and map all recognised regulatory qualifications, requirements and pathways for each license class
- Support the revision to legal instruments and website content to reflect required qualification changes
- Coordinate working groups, committees, and consultations to facilitate exchange of information
- Develop and maintain customer, stakeholders and vendor relationships through effective communication
- Support wider project activities where necessary

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Flexibility and adaptability to support any of the activities undertaken by the Senior Project Officer with internal and external stakeholders
- Passion and a desire to actively collaborate across Building Commission NSW and with key stakeholders to achieve outcomes and keep them informed
- Take a hands-on approach to understanding systems and user interfaces to inform procedure development.
- Self-driven and using your initiative to work through challenging, complex matters while remaining calm under pressure.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills

**What we need from you**

Salary Clerk Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $ base plus superannuation
