Your new company
This well renowned public service organisation provides a vital service to Victorian residents and road users. Due to a significant increase in customer enquiries, they are currently seeking multiple customer service professionals to join their head office location in Kew in the capacity of a Driver Re-Licencing Officer on a temporary/ongoing basis.

Your new role
The department you'll be working for assists all customers and stakeholders with regards to complex enquiries relating to vehicle registration and driver licensing in the context of demerit points and offence management. You'll be providing customer support, and ensuring all customer service operations run smoothly and effectively.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:

- Investigating and resolving customer queries quickly and accurately in accordance with all relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements
- Accurately process the associated transactions with these queries, and ensuring that these transactions are performed in compliance with established policies and procedures at all times
- Provide timely written and verbal advice to customers, and draft correspondence in relation to licensing and registration services
- Being open to new ideas and supporting/implementing changes to benefit customer service outcomes
- Ensuring that confidential and sensitive information is treated with discretion and care
- Once established, you will be able to provide on the job guidance and support to less experienced staff in the above areas

What you'll need to succeed
- Recent and relevant customer service experience is essential - preferably in a contact centre environment
- Previous work in administration is advantageous, but not required
- A positive, 'can-do' attitude with the capability to learn new systems and skills quickly and with ease
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience of working well in a team/collaborative setting
