The Flood Risk Management team's vision is for Queensland communities in flood-prone areas to understand their risk, have appropriate warning of flood events, have mitigated unacceptable risks and managed residual risks, now and into the future.As Manger in the Flood Risk Management team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and lead a number of key priorities, including:
- Data analytics for improved statewide understanding of flood risk, and reduced community impacts of future flood events.
- Statewide coverage of flood studies and FRMS for all major river and creek systems that interact with our communities.
- Investment in flood risk mitigation and preparedness iniatives.
