Talent International is searching for an experienced **Program Manager** to join our client, a large government agency. This role is based in **Brisbane CBD** on a 9-month contract.

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Program Director, you will contribute to the successful strategic Management, Oversight and delivery of large scale, multifaceted Information and Communication Technology Program and Projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Work within a complex stakeholder and customer environment and ensure consistent and quality engagement at all levels and effectively communicate direction, risk and issues.
- Conduct effective mediation and facilitation to ensure program and project issues are successfully resolved.
- Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organisation
- Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organisation
- Ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organisation and aligns to whole of Government PPM methodology
- Provide authoritative advice to the authorising environment
- Manage program staff by providing direction, input, and feedback
- Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to gain agency support for the program and to solicit and facilitate input to improve the program
- Ensure that the program operates within the approved budget
- Identify and evaluate the risks and issues associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks

**Preferred Knowledge / Experience**
- Extensive experience as a program manager oversighting complex change requirements across competing initiatives and priorities with diverse customer and stakeholder groups.
- Experience in successfully managing the development of large ($50M+) Business Cases involving multiple stakeholders and vendors
- Experience in managing procurement activities including vendor management related to large program of work
- Has strong understanding of the sensitive commercial and probity considerations involved in a large multi-year program of work
- Has worked proactively with Senior Executive stakeholders to align key program deliverables with diverse business strategy and benefits requirements
- Has co-designed and collaborated with diverse stakeholders to develop solution blueprints to define the requirements of a future state solution
- Lead significant change programs that includes extensive planning and iterative delivery of a solution to multiple stakeholders
- Has PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Program (MSP) Certification and have applied and practiced these methods in a complex environment
- Demonstrated leadership in mediating and facilitating planning and prioritisation requirements of a program in a complex stakeholder environment
- Experience in delivering Cloud based, Business Process as a Service or Software as a Service solutions to complex and large organisations.
- Experience managing the scoping and/or implementation phase of projects in one or more of the following business functional domains would be highly desirable

- Rostering, Time and Attendance
