**About the role**

As the Marketing Specialist, Retention, you will sit within Medibank’s Customer Marketing, Planning & Operations team in the newly formed Experience Centre of Excellence (xCoE).

In this role you’ll have the chance to work with a cross functional team as part of the Saves Squad (Existing Customer Crew - ECC). This squad works across our retention funnel providing segmented customer experiences, with a focus on the Arrears transformation with the aim to reduce lapse and increase payment rates.

In addition to end-to-end omnichannel experience development, you’ll support the Marketing Manager, PHI Retention with the delivery of compliance, customer marketing and other ‘must do’ initiatives. This will allow you to gain exposure to best practice retention-based marketing performance programs.

**You will also**:

- Focus on strategy, development and execution of multi-channel campaigns against agreed objectives and delivering to key metrics
- Use data insights and analysis to develop new campaign ideas and initiatives.
- Implement a test & learn approach that enables robust decision-making and budget allocation to efficiently generate additional revenue growth, engagement and retention.
- Contribute to and be the customer lens and support the delivery of key programs of work that come out of the Saves Squad
- Ensure appropriate reporting and analytics are in place to measure marketing effectiveness and optimise ROI, including lapse impact and attempted lapse

- Experience in developing retention plans for high volumes of customers will see you succeed in this role.
- You have demonstrated success in being able to conceptualise complex commercial variables and be able to work with ambiguity and change.
- You will also have direct marketing experience and strong communications capability.
