**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a dedicated Quality and Compliance Officer to join our growing team. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring our centres maintain exceptional standards through comprehensive compliance audits, regulatory support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting directly to the Compliance, Safety and Risk Manager, you'll be at the forefront of quality assurance, conducting on-site compliance audits, supporting our centres with regulatory requirements, and driving policy development that enhances our service delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**

Quality Assurance & Compliance Audits
- Conduct comprehensive compliance audits across EEL centres to ensure adherence to National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements.
- Perform regular on-site inspections and assessments to maintain quality standards.
- Identify compliance gaps and work collaboratively with centre teams to implement corrective actions.

Compliance Support & Advisory- Provide expert guidance and support to centre management on regulatory compliance matters.
- Stay current with early childhood education regulations and communicate changes to stakeholders.
- Assist centres in preparing for regulatory assessments and external audits.
- Develop compliance tools and resources to support operational excellence.

Policy & Procedure Development- Lead the development, review, and enhancement of policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure policy implementation across all centres and provide training support.
- Create compliance frameworks that support consistent service delivery.

Regulatory Liaison & Reporting- Maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting under the National Law requirements.
- Support complaint resolution processes and ensure regulatory compliance.

Training & Professional Development- Deliver training programs on compliance requirements and quality improvement.
- Conduct workshops to keep teams updated on regulatory changes and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external experts to enhance compliance capabilities.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance, or related field.
- Solid understanding of Australian early childhood education regulations and National Quality Framework.
- Proven experience in compliance management, auditing, or quality assurance.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for centre visits.
- Current Working with Children Check/Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
- Experience conducting compliance audits in early childhood or related sectors.
- Knowledge of risk management principles and incident investigation.
- Project management skills and experience in policy development.
- Training and facilitation experience.
