Are you an experienced Quality and Compliance professional?

WISE Employment is seeking driven, solution-oriented Quality and Compliance Officer based in Mile End (South Australia). This role will be responsible for the quality and compliance requirements of each service area of WISE Training Services; WISE Employment's Registered Training Organisation.

To be considered, you must:

  • Have 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Have experience working in a compliance or quality assurance role in an RTO environment.
  • Have experience in using an RTO student management system (aXcelerate or other similar).
  • Have the ability to work in multi-disciplined teams in a reliable and highly professional manner.
  • Have the ability to work with the Quality and Compliance Manager in a collaborative and informative manner.
  • Have the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Have highly developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Have high level of attention to detail.
  • Have excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Have excellent computer skills with a strong working knowledge of computer applications including Outlook and Microsoft Office packages (Word and Excel) as a minimum.
  • Have a high level of integrity and strong moral principles.
  • Hold a TAE40110 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Have demonstrated knowledge of the ASQA Outcome Standards for Registered Training Organisation (RTOs) 2025 or its replacement.
  • Have demonstrated working knowledge of government Funded VET Contract/s.
  • Have full Australian working rights.
  • Hold a full Australian driver's license.

  • Be willing to obtain a National Police Check

  • Be able to pass a Working with Children Check

A day in the role involves…

  • Working in partnership with and under the direction of the RTO Quality and Compliance Manager.
  • Communicating and implementing any changes to regulatory requirements with other staff members.
  • Planning, scheduling, conducting and/or overseeing internal audits including the review of student assessments, trainer/ assessors' resource, evidence of participation, etc.
  • Planning, scheduling, conducting and/or overseeing validation sessions.
  • Reviewing the trainer qualification register/ matrix - ensuring that all trainers and assessors hold and maintain currency in relevant qualifications and units of competency.
  • Regular reviewing of WISE Training Services' scope of registration in consultation with the National Education Manager and Training Manager.
  • Submitting any required applications to ASQA via ASQAnet (including submission for change of scope, change of details and renewal applications).
  • Accessing government VET portals and providing contract notifications to relevant parties.
  • Breakdown and communicating of information obtained from the government VET portal contract notifications to relevant parties.
  • Assisting with submission of ASQA data reports including: Annual Quality Indicator Reporting data; and, assisting in completion of the- Annual Declaration on Compliance.
  • Conducting and/or reviewing regular internal RTO audits for government funded VET training  contracts/programs.
  • Developing, reviewing and maintaining relevant policies and procedures.
  • Templating documents for events such as course reviews, audits and assessment validation; Pre-enrolment documentation (specifically the regulatory information).
  • Maintaining and implementing continuous improvements.
