With a diverse and proud heritage, we have a track record of delivering essential services to the communities in which we operate.- Ventia has been awarded a new four-year contract by Seqwater to deliver preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance along with electrical, mechanical and instrumentational services across its water network. Ventia will provide services across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations and 26 referable dams.**About the Role**- Join one of the largest essential infrastructure service providers in Australia and New Zealand.-

- Competitive remuneration package with abundant opportunities to learn and advance your career.- As a key member of the leadership team, the Commercial Manager provides strategic & operational commercial advice, manages subcontractor engagement and performance, and engages in cost reduction and operational performance analysis across the SEQ Water project.- K**ey Responsibilities**- Provide full commercial management of the Head Contract to ensure commercial compliance including submission of all required notices including early warnings, delay notices, scope changes and completion.-
- Oversee the reporting of KPI performance and compliance to ensure targets are achieved and implement improvement strategies if required.-
- Implement commercial and financial risk and opportunity management.-
- Lead the engagement and negotiation of subcontract agreements with suppliers and provide advice and proposed drafting in relation to contract terms and conditions with input from Ventia’s corporate legal and commercial team as required.-
- Review and make recommendations regarding commercial documents; including leases, contracts, deeds and letters etc to ensure they meet legal, commercial, and corporate standards.-
- Deliver project specific training to the project team to develop commercial capability within the project team.**About You**
- To be successful in the role of Commercial Manager, you should have the following skills and experience:- Tertiary qualification in Law, Business, Engineering, Finance or Project management-
- Proven Financial, Cost Control and Business Management literacy-
- Proven track record of successful commercial negotiations and relationship management-
- Demonstrated ability to develop excellent working relationships with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and direct reports-
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage with senior client personnel, management and all levels of the project delivery team**What We Offer You**:
