**Our client and their requirements**:
Our client a leading Canberra based business with a wonderful history and a number of successful sites. We are currently sourcing a committed and resourceful individual to join their team as a Parts Manager in a central site.
**The Role**:
Ideally the Parts Manager will be an expert in the field and maintain a united approach and collaborate with all facets of the business. You will be customer focussed, as well as posses the ability to drive to effectively lead and motivate your team.
**Your core duties & responsibilities will include**:
- Observing and reporting on financial performance of the parts department: Trace sales revenue, profit margins as well as relevant expenses to enhance the outcome of the business.
- Leadership and Mentoring of the Parts Team: Provide operative leadership and direction to the parts sales team, promotion of a motivated and quality work environment.
- Manage Stock: Oversee parts inventory, ensuring ideal stock levels and availability to meet customer demands in a timely manner.
- Goods inwards Documentation: Accurately document parts upon arrival, maintaining comprehensive records.
- Invoicing : Oversee the invoicing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Quality Regulation: Ensure stock received meet the required standards.
- Supplier Connections: Determine and foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure efficient operations.
- Teamwork across all sections: Work closely with all staff, progressing efficient direction and communication.
- Time efficiency : Ability to utilise strategies to order tasks efficiently, meeting the desired outcomes of the business.
**What you will need to succeed**:

- Proven experience in a similar role in an automotive parts environment, predominantly in spare parts and accessories.
- Ability to demonstrate a broad understanding of the sector. (European made is highly desired)
- Proficient in utilising relevent software, and technology to ensure operations flow effectively.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory control and business management, highlighting concentrated organisational skills.
