About the role
- This position is required to work across the Audiology department within the area of Allied Health Services ensuring a high level of patient focused customer service is provided. The position is also required to work within a multidisciplinary team and provide administrative support to clinicians as required.
- At times the role may be required to work across all areas of Allied Health Services ensuring a high level of patient focused customer service is provided.
About you
- Advanced skills in the use of information technology to facilitate a high level of data quality. Systems include Enterprise Scheduling Management (ESM), Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS), Smart Referrals Workflow Solution (SRWS), and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Accurately processes referrals, schedules patient appointments, rescheduling and confirming as necessary and manages pending appointments, expired appointments for patients with a focus of Audiology using ESM, ensuring alignment with the Specialist Outpatients Implementation Standards (SOSIS).
- Manage workload appropriately; prioritising tasks, ensuring work is completed within designated timeframes.
- Provide a high level of administrative support within a multidisciplinary team ensuring business needs are met to a high standard.
- Exercise judgment and discretion in undertaking various tasks whilst being responsible for the quality of work undertaken.
