Technical Application Support Analyst

Providing smart metering devices and services to over 50 energy retailers across ANZ, our reach is growing rapidly. But the true breadth of what we do goes beyond the meter, touching everything from solar to water, virtual power plants to electric vehicle charging.

We’re looking for a Technical Application Support Analyst - Data Delivery to join our innovative team. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for supporting, troubleshooting, and optimising the systems that power our metering data delivery. You'll work at the intersection of data, cloud tech, and automation, helping keep our data flowing smoothly and securely. In addition to this you'll be responsible for:

- Write, optimise, and execute complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, data processing, and system integration.
- Perform in-depth data analysis on complex data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot database issues and optimise performance
- Document technical processes, support tickets, and solutions for knowledge sharing.
- Work actively to uplift cyber resilience across the organisation.
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment and contribute to continual improvement in quality and performance at Intellihub by complying with all relevant policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring a solid technical foundation, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment. We’re looking for someone who can work collaboratively across teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and confidently manage technical responsibilities from end to end. Ideally, you will also have the following:

- Proactive, positive, flexible and resilient
- Tertiary qualified with a degree in Information Technology or Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in writing SQL queries for relational databases
- Strong knowledge of database management (e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Hands on experience with AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Cloudwatch)
- Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data analysis
- Good understanding of ITIL framework and ITSM principles and processes
- Strong focus on stakeholder engagement and customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment
