**About the role**
The Program Producer is a permanent full-time position, 35 hours per week, working in City of Parramatta Libraries. This role will deliver meaningful, high-quality experiences and programs that foster community engagement, civic pride, and a positive reputation and outcomes for the City of Parramatta. Council’s Library services are delivered across a network of 7 Libraries including Parramatta Library at Phive the community, cultural and civic heart of Parramatta Square.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, project manage and execute a meaningful, high-quality program of library activities, events, and user education to drive visitation and positive outcomes for Libraries.
- Develop and implement library programs that deliver accessible and inclusive experiences for diverse customers.
- Provide training and development support to library staff to deliver quality programs and services.Collaborate with Council departments to ensure maximum programming alignment and opportunities which complement, and provide an integrated collaborative approach to the City of Parramatta Council’s annual program of events and activities.
**About You**
**Skills**
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in developing and delivering programs and services to meet needs of identified target groups.
- Ability to curate and administer high quality programs, tours and experiences, within legislative and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrate high level of project management skills & high-level skills in communication, both verbal and written, with an ability to report on and evaluate programs and engagement experiences.
- Exceptional ability to communicate, collaborate, coordinate, build relationships and partnerships and maintain high levels of engagement.
- Demonstrable leadership capability to train and mentor others to deliver programs and activities.
**Experience**
- Demonstrated experience developing, delivering and curating community programs and events, specifically STEAM and creative arts programs and other learning opportunities involving new and emerging technologies including AI, VR, 3D printing.
- Experience developing, implementing and evaluating cultural and community programs for diverse audiences.
- Experience negotiating, managing and executing contracts and/or agreements, including delivery of partners contractual obligations.
- Experience in managing projects with multiple stakeholders, in handling several projects simultaneously and being able to prioritise key library and council outcomes and deliverables.
You will also bring:
**Qualifications**
- Diploma or degree qualification in a discipline related to the responsibilities of the position description
- Minimum three years of extensive library program and engagement experience
**Desirable**
- Current C Class Driver Licence
**What’s on offer**
We are offering an attractive remuneration ranging from $93,458.60 to $102,919.38 plus 11.5% superannuation.
