- 35hr Week | Central Parramatta Location

**EVENT PRODUCER** (Civic Program and Protocol)

**12 month temporary position**

**About the role**

The position is responsible for leadership, development and implementation of the City of Parramatta’s Civic Program, Protocol and Community Events Program.

On a daily basis you will be responsible for the end to end creation, production and delivery of,
- Lord Mayoral Receptions
- Civic Events and Ceremonies
- Australian Citizenship program
- Australia Day Awards Program
- Key to the City Program
- Family Fun Day Program
- Community Events Program (Including Diwali Program)
- Official openings of new or refurbished Council Infrastructure and capital works projects
- Stakeholder and VIP events

**About You**

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualifications in event management, project management, or executive support to a senior level manager or team or a related discipline with significant relevant experience

**Experience**
- Demonstrated experience in the field of civic events, civic protocols and event management in general.
- Demonstrated understanding of civic protocols in a local government context.
- Demonstrated experience in working with staff at a senior management, CEO and board level.
- Solid experience in budget development and reconciliation, event management, and reporting skills.

**Skills**

Demonstrated ability to effectively and appropriately communicate with a diverse stakeholder groups at all levels and act professionally and with discretion

**What’s on offer**

We are offering an attractive total remuneration package from $103,763 to $114,242 (inclusive of superannuation)
