**About CME Asset Finance & Leasing**

Customer Management & Execution (CME) is a team of highly professional portfolio and execution specialists across Australia, UK, USA and Asia covering the broad spectrum of Corporate & Institutional businesses, delivering a wide range of financial solutions for our customers.

The CME Asset Finance & Leasing team focuses on serving clients in sectors such as Shipping, Aviation, Mining, Rail, Industrials and Government.

**About the role**

You’ll be an equipment and appraisal specialist working alongside a senior appraiser and a team of bankers. The role will have responsibility for:

- Providing technical input on assets during the origination process
- Preparation of asset valuations and quality supporting documents in accordance with the Bank’s risk policies
- residual value portfolio management
- providing industry and technology related insights on new assets and emerging trends
- coaching and development of junior team members through exemplary behaviours and role modelling.

**About you**:

- have tertiary qualifications in engineering (mechanical, industrial, mining, or similar)
- bring asset knowledge from relevant sectors such as Shipping, Aviation, Mining, Rail, manufacturing plant and equipment
- have excellent communication skills and experience liaising with a range of stakeholders
- have the ability to analyse data and prepare reports in a timely manner
- have financial acumen and demonstrated skills in excel
- hold a qualification with the American Society of Appraisers or undertake this study with the support of the Bank
- a qualification in business / finance would be highly desired
- broad engineering consultancy / industry / valuation experience would be highly desired

You will be enthusiastic and keen to continually enhance your technical knowledge. You will have industry experience and a demonstrated ability to build external networks that can assist you in researching assets.
