**PRODUCTION ASSISTANT**

INDUSTRIE is one of Australia's most entrepreneurial, fresh and dynamic retailers who specialise in producing distinctly masculine and highly detailed clothing at an affordable price. Established in 1999, this iconic Australian menswear and Kidswear brand boasts a comprehensive range of quality shirting, chinos, denim, shorts, outerwear, knitwear, accessories & European-made leather footwear.

Our department is growing and as a result we are looking for a motivated Production Assistant to join our Head Office team

**About the role**

Reporting to the Production Coordinator, this fast paced role is responsible for increasing sales by assisting with the effective production process, where products are produced on time, to budget and to Industrie high quality standards.
**Key responsibilities include**:

- Managing incoming samples
- Measure and check proto, pre-production and shipping samples to agreed standards
- Daily communication to factories
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of production documents and tech packs for all product areas
- Bulk garment inspections
- Drawing technical diagrams or product illustrations. Taking photos or scanning garments to assist the Production team to communicate construction or fit changes to a supplier
- Filing and sample management

**About you**
- Be an ambassador for Industrie and Indie Kids and have a passion for the brand
- Have an understanding of têxtiles and a sound knowledge of garment construction and grading methods
- Possess well developed written and verbal communication skills
- Have excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines
- Possess exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy;
- Be flexible, with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and changing environment
- Have appropriate qualifications in garment construction/production
- At least 1 year experience in a similar role
- A positive enthusiastic approach to work environment
