Strategy and Analytics Analyst - Credit Risk

The Credit Risk and CommAssets Crew performs a critical role for our customers and the Group, providing data driven credit policies, business rules, limit assignment, servicing and verification strategies used in thousands of lending decisions every day. Our team optimises the customer experience using analytics to inform and assess our strategies and helps implement these strategies into automated decisioning systems.

Within the Credit Risk and CommAssets Crew we have a range of opportunities available, with roles in credit risk strategy squads that focus on Personal Lending or Buy-Now Pay-Later (StepPay) products. You will report to the Product and Solutions Chapter Lead and be an integrated member of your squad on a daily basis.

**On a day-to-day basis you will**:

- Support the development of credit risk strategies, including but not limited to, data driven business rule changes, using models to set optimised profit decisions, updates to servicing and verification rules, and deep dives into strategy performance and outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with technical teams to provide and clarify requirements, test and implement strategies into automated decisioning systems.
- Embrace a continuous improvement mindset, and seek to find ways to standardise, simplify and automate business processes.
- Perform deep dives into the retail lending portfolios by harnessing world-class data to provide actionable insights to senior leadership and influence the Bank's strategic direction.
