**Your new company**

This organisation is responsible for growing a stronger Australia through long-term strategic planning, investing and support of industry bodies, initiatives and policy development.

**Your new role**
As a cyber compliance specialist you work with system and business owners to identify and consider cyber risk and appropriate remediation activities. You will work closely with the Department's IT Security Advisor and the program team to provide advice and support around cyber compliance and risk documentation.

Your day will consist of;
- Writing security accreditation documentation
- Communicate security concepts and controls to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Assess new and upgraded systems to ensure accreditations are met
- Provide security advice in line with the PSPF, ISM and IRAP

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate experience in cyber risk and compliance under the Australian Government Security Framework, relevant laws and regulations and best practices. You should be able to maintain and develop ICT policies, procedures and documentation to maintain compliance.

Your background will include the following;
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a cyber role is required
- IT qualifications and relevant work experience across cyber compliance initiatives
- Work apart of an agile team and communicate with staff at all levels
- Experience working in large ICT environments with a focus on Microsoft
- Extensive knowledge of Australian Government Policies and frameworks relating to Government Services

You will need to be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this position and hold an NV1 clearance or higher.
