This role is for a long standing, multi-disciplined engineering consultancy. Working in multiple project sectors, on small to large-sized projects throughout local & rural areas in WA.

**Role**:
This is a new and not very common opportunity to step into a Mechanical Design Manager role. This company has a high-employee satisfaction rate with nearly more than half their employees having long tenures. This consultancy is in the beginning stages of phasing out their original Mech manager, as they are due to retire in the next couple of years. This would be a great opportunity for a Senior Mechanical HVAC engineer who has already got a few senior years under their belt and are looking for that next challenge and career progression opportunity. This person will have the benefit of moving into a manager role with the existing manager teaching you the ropes before making their departure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of projects.
- Work cross-functionally with different teams and organizations concerning projects.
- Managing & mentoring the Mechanical Engineering Team.
- Bid for projects, develop business.

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- A satisfactory level of Project Management and Technical ability across the HVAC specialty & other coinciding engineering disciplines.
- Understanding of Standards and Legislation across disciplines.
- Developed HVAC Engineering design and assessment skills.
- An advanced level of report writing and communication skills.
- Relevant Engineering Degree or tertiary qualification.
