About the role

**Role Location**: Melbourne VIC

**Role Type**: Permanent, Full-time

The Onboarding-KYC team has grown significantly and along with “Quantity”, it is expected “Quality” is maintained. As a Knowledge, Capability & Training Manager, you will be responsible for rolling out the L&D framework and working with the checkers & QC team to continually uplift quality. With a larger span of control for managers, this role is required to provide specialist knowledge and insight, capability and training uplift, and management of adherence to Accreditation frameworks to support and enable KYC Operations.

Role accountabilities

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
Developing the L&D framework; Training & accreditation programs, coaching frameworks and innovative ways to ensure regulatory and policy obligations are understood and operationalized
Driving awareness and understanding of AML/CTF related regulatory obligations including understanding, integrating, and developing training materials for any changes
Embedding a learning culture to build a team of best-in-class KYC professionals
Facilitating efficient roll out of Change through required training-awareness programs and activities
Execution and maintenance of the Capability and Training Accreditation Framework, including delivery of training and training employees to be trainers
Working in collaboration with other areas of the Financial Crime Portfolio, Learning and Capability teams to design and implement learning tools and materials to maintain currency with upcoming financial crime typologies and trends.
Ensuring that the KYC workforce is calibrated to the right capability and skillset
Oversight of capability and skill levels across KYC Operations, assisting Leadership and staff in managing to Accreditation targets
Record and report on training delivery; Provide insights and close any gaps to uplift KYC capability
Build an accreditation program across Collect/Verify/Load/Link/QC
Create and maintain artefacts/resources for new staff and ongoing training
Provide input into relevant forums where training/accreditation is relevant e.g. KYC QC Forum
Develop strong ties with business leaders to ensure their staff are set up for success with the right tools to do the job

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders, all levels of employees and management
Coaching and/or training experience and qualifications
Experience in developing and rolling out training frameworks
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proven analytical, influencing and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to identify risks and impacts as well as possible solutions and corrective action
Knowledge of the Banking/Finance regulatory environment specifically on AML/CTF legislation, Financial Crime and appreciation of emerging trends
KYC and AML expertise and experience and ability to facilitate training
Continuous improvement to enhance end user experience and uplift user adoption
Energy & enthusiasm to gain buy-in and engagement from the whole team
