**THE ROLE**

The Infrastructure Services Support Officer is responsible for delivering effective and efficient administration support to the Infrastructure Services Business Unit. This position ensures that they are customer focused, flexible with regards to requirements and task orientated at all times.

The role brings variety to every day. The Infrastructure Services team deliver critical services to the community including infrastructure construction and maintenance, engineering services, asset management, and our vast community recreation facilities. This position acts as the primary point of contact with respect to requests for information, enquiries and complaints from customers, the community, state and commonwealth agencies and the like, and will investigate, record, recommend action(s) and where required prepare draft responses for the relevant section or business unit. Other duties will include:

- Provide meeting support including but not limited to venue and catering arrangements, preparation of agendas, and recording and distribution of minutes.
- Provide research, administrative and project support as directed by the Manager.
- Maintain contemporary knowledge of information and communication technology as it relates to the efficient and effective functioning of the group.
- Ensure timely and regular updates regarding project and work status, resources, risks and the like, are provided to the Manager.
- Provide timely, constructive input into decision making and problem solving of works issues.
- Coordinate bookings for Council’s open space, facilities and pool car in accordance with adopted policies, plans and procedures.

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate your strong focus on customer service, communication skills and ability to work unsupervised. Taking initiative in decision making, prioritising and multi-tasking, being flexible to respond quickly when situations change as qualities that will be highly regarded.

This position is offered on a **permanent fulltime** basis working **35 **hours per week.

Remuneration for this position is based on **7** of the salary system which equates to a base salary between **$59,132.32 and $66,515.80** per annum plus superannuation.
