**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a Services Supervisor for our Wambo Mine. Our Wambo mine complex is a combined open-cut and underground mine located 30kms west of Singleton that produce metallurgical and thermal coal for export and domestic markets.

Reporting to the Services Superintendent, you will safely and efficiently supervise the delivery of infrastructure projects and maintenace works across the rest of colliery holdings.

**Duties will include**:

- Demonstrate safe behaviours and provide leadership and guidance to a team of contractors within the surface infrastructure works
- Assist in the development of project and operational procedures for the surface infrastructure works
- Ensuring compliance with operational and project plans and procedures
- Ensure that surface infrastructure works are performed safety, to plan and achieve operational and project targets
- Responsibility for overall delivery of surface infrastructure projects, work quality, compliance to plan and efficiency performance
- Identify and implement Continuous Improvement opportunities
- Facilitate the timely execution of planned works and manage resource allocation on a day-to-day basis
- Liaising with site stakeholders to ensure project and infrastructure commitments and targets are met
- Provide support as required to ensure safe and timely delivery of maintenance objectives.
- Monitoring Contractor activities and ensuring compliance to health & safety management system
- Conducting performance reviews of Contractor Maintainer/Operators**
**The lifestyle**:
This position is permanent Monday - Friday role with an ROD per month. The position is suited to a residential lifestyle in nearby Singleton or the Hunter Valley/Newcastle surrounds.

**About You**:

- Be committed to high standards of integrity, safety and performance
- Ideally 3 + years’ experience in a similar role with civil and mining support services
- Ability to be an inspirational leader and have a positive impact upon your team
- Strong knowledge of civil contractor works and site support services
- Cert IV in Frontline Management or similar is desirable
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, including excel
