Infrastructure Systems and Emergency Support Officer

We are looking for a passionate and hardworking **Systems and Emergency Support Officer** to join our Infrastructure Services team at Singleton Council. In this role, you’ll make a real impact on the everyday lives of people within our community by achieving important outcomes for Singleton to grow and flourish.

**THE ROLE**

This role is a vital component to the Infrastructure Services Business Unit. As the systems specialist you will maintain and administer our work I.T programs, develop procedures and protocols, make enhancements to our processes and be the go to person for continuous improvements. As our emergency support officer, you will provide exemplary stakeholder engagement and coordinate the meetings for the Local Emergency Management Committee. During an emergency event, you will provide support to the Local Emergency Management Officer.

You will be offered full training and guidance in becoming the administrator of our systems and the opportunity to join an internal Business Improvement Network group.

In this role you will:

- Manage and coordinate the review and development of policies, protocols and procedures
- Develop and implement innovative solutions for business processes that enhance functionality and provide efficiencies
- Audit and review current workplace systems, processes and technology
- Undertake Infrastructure Services reporting including monthly metrics
- Undertake high level business and administrative support to the Local Emergency Management Officer

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**
- Demonstrated qualification of experience in project management, business improvement and/or business administration
- Demonstrated knowledge in the administration of IT work systems and support services systems
- Demonstrated experience in delivering communication or training to diverse groups of people
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data to develop reports

This position is offered on a** PERMANENT** basis working **35** hours per week.

Remuneration for this position is based on **11** of the salary system which equates to a base salary between **$77,357 - $87,016** per annum plus superannuation.
