**Role Description/Criteria**

We have an opportunity for an experienced gardnener, lanscaper or horticulturalist to join our diverse Facilities and Grounds team, working in a pristine environment with heritage buildings and grounds, and amongst vast landscapes.

You’ll be busy:

- Planning, design, construction and ongoing maintenance of landscaping projects
- Maintaining all grassed/turfed areas and gardens inclusive but not limited to planting, mowing, pruning, edging, irrigation, fertilising, chemical spraying, renovation and mulching
- Assist in the management and maintenance of all grounds equipment and machinery
- Establishing, maintaining and preparing high quality sports grounds and turf wickets
- Competently using a wide variety of turf machinery in a safe manner
- Line marking of sports grounds, and
- As part of the Grounds Team, work as an effective team member, sharing responsibilities, working collaboratively, generating ideas and demonstrating leadership within the team.

About you:

- Minimum of Certificate lll in garden design, landscaping or horticulture
- Able to undertake manual handling on a daily basis, and
- A current Driver Licence, Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
